Pen to Pencil

You are the Pen to my life
and me the Pencil to yours.
You can make mistakes,
but I'll waste away my eraser,
until they are gone.
Your ink is your heart
and my led is mine.
I'll spend my time writing about you
and drawing with you
as you bold out the words to make us stronger.
And when the moment comes,
when you run out of ink
and I run out of led.
We'll still be together,
because You will always be the pen to my life
as I will always be the pencil in yours.
