I am neither man or beast

Defined, where dwells thought,
A word or sentence sought.
Craving of form and function,
Via abstract or representation,
Between and betwixt the two
A look within me divines you.

This is beautiful. They rhyme is soothing and the message is deep. I loved those first lines:

I am neither man or beast
But the greater of the least

There is potency in those thoughts and I believe the "greater" may change according to which one of those is called upon.

I know "muse" and "music" are related, and that kind of helps me when considering things like function. Though what I like most about this short write is the opening:
"I am neither man or beast
But the greater of the least." - that's a great, great expression right there.
