Down the road of Depression

Down the road of Depression

A Poem by Legolas
"

Personal experiance helped me write this.

"

Down the road of depression,

from which there is no return,

good people are lost.

Sons, daughters, husbands, wives;

all become strangers to their loved ones.

Although most feel that they have no one,

there is at least one person who understands.

In the depths of depression,

do not lose hope, for hope is all you have.

Trust you will get through it and  . . .

you will.

Depression is never easy to deal with, not for the depressed nor for their family and friends.
It is a vicious circle in a way. The less one feels that the others care about them, the more are those people driven away, leaving less people who love for real.
I really like the way you ended it on a positve note. Well written!

Ah. This is refreshing. I lose hope way too much. But hope in a different context, hope as personified into faith.

There is always that time in your life that you just can't see what's going to happen next, or what's gonna happen to you. But, yes there is still hope.

Maybe from the lost faith, I can start over from hope.

I like this, it's short and sweet. Straight to the point but still comforting.

There is hope, thank you.

And, I was attracted here because of your picture. I love bunnies and rabbits. And anything in that family. Magad. I'm rambling, haha, okay.

A little too, how do I put it? Optimistic for my taste. It's not the type of genre I usually stick to, but you've done a fine job nonetheless. Well done.
