Two Flowers

Two Flowers

A Poem by Legolas

Two flowers lie beside each other.
One, a blue orchid.
The other, a pink Sakura.
Side by side they lie forever.

Never wilting.
Never leaving.
Never hurting.
Never dying.

Peaceful, are these two flowers.
Nothing matters but each other.
Every so often, a gust of wind blows.
Blows and causes them to lightly touch.

If this were to be described, it would be a kiss.
A kiss so natural, so beautiful.
A kiss each flower wishes never to end.
The soft petals on each others cause elation.

They savor the touch until they touch again.
It is never long until they do.
Each touch is just as special as the first it happened.
Each touch, a connection they share.

Two flowers.
Lying side by side.
Perfect for each other.
Each one sent from heaven.

This is very emotional and breathtaking. I like your imagery and your slow flow of words, and i have to say, like your connection with nature. You expressed through these beautiful flowers feelings to her, a special person.
I specially like the fourth stanza.
Thanks for sharing..Keep it up buddy :D

This is a very pretty love poem. I like the idea behind the metaphor of two lovers as flowers. If only real life could be thus...

"Never wilting, never leaving, never hurting, never dying."

Well done.

Thank you. I hope so too but I have major doubt.
Great imagery here. I could see the flowers, feel the breeze, and feel the soft silky texture of the flowers pets. This was phrased well and flowed beautifully. Well done.

Thanks very much.
I kept expecting a dark ending; proves how cold my soul is.
Your connection with your relationship and nature was done skillfully. Not exactly the most original thought, but you portray it beautifully; especially the fourth stanza. Great job

This is so beautiful, I was desperate either to cry or hug something. I love the imagery of the flowers, in particular "Every so often, a gust of wind blows./Blows and causes them to lightly touch./If this were to be described, it would be a kiss." It must be nice to see the world as you do.
