Eternity

Eternity

A Poem by Ina Waltz

We laughed and I talked too much like I always do

You pulled me in closer so I had to hold you tighter

Smelled your past all over your skin but it didn't scare me

I'd let go of my own fears so easily

In that moment I held eternity

and it had your name
