Walhalla

Walhalla

A Poem by Leslie Philibert
"

a place of peace

"
high over the palatinate
a white of corners
heavy as a wooded hill

a hall of whispers and height
when a milk bride
throws a glance over marble

all wait like a clock
this angular memory of eyes

this makes me think of Vermont...a pasture of cows waiting to be herded to the barn for milking...
they have their own clock...and know when it is time...it is like they whisper to each other to congregate when it is time.
nicely done...as is all your work...
