Dedication to A. Rose

Dedication to A. Rose

A Poem by Levana Hyll

A poem I wrote inspired by another poet's poem... A. Rose's FOREVER HIS

I once read a poem by A. Rose... that made me think and write in prose...

A very beautiful piece of how I USED to be....

a person who loved others, gladly and free.

My heart was always stepped on, trampled and burned,

and I knew that there was a lesson that had to be learned...

Learn to love yourself first and foremost,

and never give them anything with which to boast...

And the most import lesson of love...

is that the greastest one comes from up above.

GREAT poem, A.Rose! Inspired me to write one myself! =)

I love this! It was written very well and I feel honored to be the inspiration! The only thing is I regret not reading this sooner. I haven't been on in quite some time. This was a wonderful piece! Way to go!

Lovely easy flow & I agree w/the consensus--write more poetry, Lev!!
Especially loved these straightforward & candid lines:
~~A very beautiful piece of how I USED to be...
A person who loved others, gladly and free..~~
Let the poetry bug keep biting...
