If you search for the elixir

Eternity waits

Mastering the protoscience

Longevity creates

                                 

Join together the elements

Your life will be prone

Such things in life aren’t relevant

I like that you used a tough subject to write a poem about- just keep in mind that poems are meant to be read out loud- there are some lines that are a syllable too long. Technically, you could keep them the same, but it would sound better if you trimmed them down.

A poem with a complete story in so few words. I wish I could hold a philosopher stone when I was young. Old age allow mistakes and error to teach you the right ways. A outstanding poem.

Short and mystical. I'm having to really study the words to figure it out. Though the most basic concept here I think is that immortality is worth the peril involved in acquiring it. And yet, that's looking at the poem from a fantasy perspective, in that you might have used the philosopher's stone as a metaphor for something more concrete, like life itself...

Thought provoking.
