Moving Castle

Moving Castle

A Poem by Alexa Tarvid

We take our time,
Read between the lines,

I will never be yours.
No matter how hard you try,

And you want it all,
Or nothing at all,
And I am left here
Walking all alone.

Because its not
Just you,
It's every one,

Every
Single
One.

So I walk.
Hands in my pockets
And my moving castle,
And you gone
The next one in your footsteps.

I've got them on a
Medieval Merry-Go-Round
You see.

Great stallions
With knights in shining armor,
Who aren't allowed
To go past the line I've drawn.

Like I said,
Me and my moving fortress,
I never said,
That it didn't go
In circles.

Nice flow. New metaphors. Nothing cliché here. Like your point blank end. Thank you for sharing.
