A Plea To End A Life of Nonexistence.

A Plea To End A Life of Nonexistence.

A Poem by Paper Forks

We live to die the moment we were born,
The path of our lives were trekked while we mourn.

My gaze is far--overreaching,
I see my distant end.
My soul: bizarre--hear its screeching,
I intend to offend.

I sigh and lie to feel alive
I'm my own paradise.
I sigh and cry to feed my drive
Go ahead. Throw the dice.

I live in fear that I might live:-
my death is for certain.
You grieve in fear that I might grieve
for my death is certain.

We live to die in the path where we mourned
And we died from the moment we were born.

Honest and true words.
"We live to die in the path where we mourned
And we died from the moment we were born."
I tell people. Don't look fro death. Death will find you. Better to trick the Gods. Laugh and dance till the end. The tone of the poem was dark. What we do between birth and death does matter. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Born to live. Live to die.

We must fill in the gap or all lacks meaning.

A contemplative and thought provoking read ... We are mere vapors of days gone by, carried off by the wandering winds of time ... King Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun to be done that has not been done before ... It is useless in its doing, but we continue to do that which we do as though somehow we shall make a change, a contribution of that one something new and different, but we shan't ...

I love the truth behind this poem. It's a very interesting way to look at life but in reality each second we live, each breath we breathe we get a little closer to the end of our life. Great piece that makes you think.
