Writing is such a lonely solace.

It brings peace to the inner soul

Divides the light from the mist

Separates us from the world

And promises more of the same

I agree with Jacob...people who do not write do not understand when you need a little quiet time...and sometimes I would rather write then do anything else...It does isolate you but at the same time it is enjoyable and a cheap hobby ha...SyberRose

i really like this...writing is our one true friend, the one we can count on. it alleviates pain, helps us cope...yet at the same time it isolates us from others who don't understand, or want to understand.

how so true..
giving ourself and all away ,moments and hours we are taken far from all
times too far i fear,try to halt lest i pass the limits and no return,and i am afraid
all alone,no one to help if i get lost,for its a vast wilderness,take heed,easy to get lost
and forever ,no one will find you even to get you back,and if fallen no one to help you stand again..so its your own risk,it the unknown lands,you should know before venturing
there out in the wild,put some land marks so you make a comeback,or else you are lost
forever..it is never easy to be a writer..its a different life..very unique way of living
you are both so strong and so very weak too,you stoop to everything and heart so weak
heart so weak ,mind without limits..and a soul ,thats all,not much body to control
everything is in the wide open,and you are very,very all alone..really loved this
wish everyone would know,it is not an easy walk or ever a nice trip..its like seeing hell
thats writing.
