Dancing In Love

Not to get all sappy on you but I wanted to share this one

Dancing In Love

Catch your heart

With both hands

And promise me

You'll never let me go

Or abandon this

Graceful dance

Of two people falling

Deep in love

 

Whether its forever

Or wasn't meant for never

To leave or to stay

Or to pray for

This new masquerade

To last into the

Eternal ballroom above

 

Though this step

May be exhausting

And some would

Say we should

Quit

We'll waltz

Because we want to

Not because we have to

And we'll always

Find some way

To make it through

 

So twirl me

Around the floor

Once more

Before you close

Your eyes and

Whisper in my ear

Those three words

I've been waiting to hear

 

I don't complicate

Or hesitate

On what I already

Know to be true

So I say,

"I love you, too."
