Above It All

Above It All

A Poem by Ceri Sian Lock

Outside the world,
A velvet, violet universe glowed.
Blue moon behind me,
To no-one,
Nothing owed.
Cloudless,
Clear,
Beaming atmosphere.
Beyond limits
Elastic.
They would snap back,
Destroyed now.
Something drastic,
Cosmic
Changed,
Materialised.
A star-bound vehicle
Designed to,
More than capable of
Propelling through skies.
To dwell and play
In timeless space.
Content,
Countless feet tall.
Floating above it all.

To be in that star bound vehicle, looking down. Beautiful, soft words, speaking so loudly.
