Temptation to Sin

Temptation to Sin

A Poem by Jaded rose

TEMPTATION TO SIN

I sit here thinking of my sins
Overwhelmed by just how many there are
But my biggest sin is YOU
Tempting from the day I met you
Bombarding my brain with thoughts of you
I knew that temptation was setting in
When I looked at you and thought of kissing you
Temptation was full blown when my thoughts went to making love to you
Why, oh why---did you have to be my temptation
I did not want to sin with you
You would not leave me alone
STOP being so nice to me
You make me sick because you make me laugh at you
Now you are constantly on my mind
How can I get you out of my brain
Now you kissed me and, oh, so well
I fit so well against your body
Now it is a thin line between temptation and sin
Then one day temptation turned into full blown sin
What am I to do now
Guilt befalls me for following through
And, YET, I do not feel the guilt
Now I just want to know--
When can I sin with you again

lol. I must admit it is very hard to stay focused when there is so much temptation around us. I believe of the good things is that we can repent and start over. This piece should relate to anyone who reads its it. Those men are an amazing, sexy, wonderful, handsome and annoying creature. (Sigh) We just need to mindful that of what our temptations are so we can stay away clear of them later. lol
