Empty

Just needed to write this down, it's not really a poem or anything, just something to dwell on.....

For a year and a half, I missed you more than I could bear. 
I couldn’t think of you without feeling a pierce in my heart. 
I wanted nothing more than to see you, to talk to you, to hear the sound of your voice again.
I can finally think about you, and not feel a thing. 
And, as of late, I haven’t been sure which I prefer: thinking of you and missing you with every fiber of my being, or thinking of you and feeling completely empty.
