Mental sewage of the day.

I’d rather not.

And I’ve got so much anger built up inside, 
for some reasons valid and for some unjustified. 
I guess I’m just mad that after all this time, 
everything’s changed, but I’m saying the same rhyme. 
And my heart still hurts the same way as before, 
and I still feel the burn from the flames in my core. 
And I know that I’m better off these days,
but the scars don’t hide, they don’t fade away. 
They say that it’s all just part of growing up, 
but if this is how growing up feels then I’d rather not
do this part.
