Faces

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

You can't bring the past back.

"

I have lost all of my words

There are no pictures left

                to feel anything for

It was always us

You were my friend

                now I’m sitting here alone

It’s almost like you are gone

Some think it weird that I still love you

But I was just thinking

                of you

I hope you’re still a gorgeous soul

Like I remember

It was always us

You were my friend

                now I’m sitting here alone

Defining "broken" is harder than most understand. But you do know when you "feel" it.

Yes, Chris. You only truly understand "broken"once it invades your soul. Thank you.
Intense emotion layers this wonderful poem. Excellent work. Awesome use of imagery. Though short, it has a lot to say and leaves a lot to chew on.
