Thinking 'Bout You

A tribute to my favorite band, Bad Company, and their song, Feel Like Makin Love. Yes, words were taken from the song, but plenty of the poem is my own additions. This poem is also a tribute to my man

I think about love, and the mornings with you.

 

Darling, I don’t wanna live without you

Or you love that I know is true.

 

 

When I have these golden dreams

Of my days with you.

I would wrap you in the heavens,

Until we felt the morning dew.

 

I’m on my way to your heart,

I hope to see you smile.

I’ll hold you in my arms even when it’s dark.

I think about love,

And how my feelings are true.

 

Darling, If I live without you

I live without love,

And that’s something I know I can’t do.

 

 

And if I had the sun and moon

And when they were shining,

I’d give them all to you.

I stare at the moon and think of you.
