Indescribable

Indescribable

A Poem by Kryptonite120613

I can’t describe how I feel

I thought I was made of steel,

But you come barging in

Showing me I’m made of tin

I’m weak at the knees

With every tight squeeze

My heart skips a beat

Every time we meet

When the words fell

It threw me into hell.

Showed me I’m not that strong

No longer knowing right from wrong,

As the tears rolled down my cheeks

I dragged through the weeks

Counting down the days

Living in a haze.

Waiting for him to come back

I keep track

Of every tearful eye,

Every time I ask why

I keep track

Of every time I fall back,

Of every sleepless night

I kept track through this fight

I can’t describe the way I feel

Or how many skipped meals,

I promise I don’t cry

Or at least I try.

But this is indescribable.
