I Thought You Were the One

I Thought You Were the One

A Poem by LivingDeath

I thought you were the one for me

to lift me off my feet

to love me till the end

into eternity.

I thought you were the one

was this all for fun

did you really care

because I still think you're the  one.

I though you were the one

but its really all the same

you were just another one

to break my heart again.

This rhymes very fluidly, and says so much. I've been in this situation before; not the best feeling :/
But great job on this one!

Love is rough sometimes it just stinks.
It will get better. I know you are probably tired of hearing that.
You will get you another girl one day.
You express yourself very well.

You captured wondefully what so many teenagers as well as people go through. Unfortunatley sometimes loving someone isn't enough to keep you together.

I Love You Tyler, And I'm Sure Things Will Work Out For You In The End, Because If Anyone Deserves Great Amounts Of Happiness It's You

wow. i dunno what it is about being a teenager that makes us just have to go through effing hell til we get things right for once, but don't sweat it. things happen for a reason (btw i also liked this piece lots!)

Love can twist us up. Alone we think about what we could of been. A sad poem about the education of love.
