Please Tear Me Down

Please Tear Me Down

A Poem by WaitingToBeFound

Previous Version
This is a previous version of Please Tear Me Down.

I refuse to slip, slip through your fingertips

for you I'll be anything, please unravel my being

               please tear me down

                              reassemble me, I won't make a sound

and if I'm whole again, I will hope that you are finally seeing.

It doesn't matter if I lose, does it

if I lose myself, I'll be the girl you changed

                                  the girl you made

the girl I was can finally start to fade

I'll be proud to be the girl you rearranged.

                         You kiss me now

                     like you never knew

               you're everything to me.

I wish I could be everything to you.

You did really good at putting all of your emotion through in your writing. It's a very powerful and sad poem. Amazing job. (:
