Beast of the Deep

Beast of the Deep

A Poem by S. Waldo

Look at those eyes

So dark and black

Seeing everything yet nothing at all.

Their skin is coarse

So rough

Leaving behind multiple cuts on anything they pass.

Rows of teeth

Sharper than diamonds

Closing down on the unsuspecting.

Swimmers of the deep

Lurkers of the dark

Beware the beast.
