Call

Call

A Poem by S. Waldo

Every day it rings
Every day no one answers

At the same time
On the dot it rings

Only once
And never twice

Will she answer
Or only stare

Will she pick up
And see what is said

Or will she forever watch
It call every day.

What is your interpretation? Is it a lover? A stalker?

I wrote this on a whim at work last night :) so even I do not know what exactly it is I'm writing about specifically. Enjoy!

Wow. I felt the anticipation and the hesitation of this lover by the phone as if she has second thoughts...Splendid...:)
