Just kind of my thoughts at the moment

My only get away from here is the drugs and the music

I want to perform infront of all the people

Making them dance and get crazy

Making them laugh and be happy

I want to be something more 

More than this 

More than the average quiet, depressed teenage girl

I want to travel the world

Me and a group of friends

Laughing, making memories

I am so sick of this god awful place

I am so sick of hearing "everything will be okay"

I am so f*****g sick of my mom telling me "it's just a phase"

It's not

It's me, it's who I am, it's who you made

Let me be free

Let me go away

I want to go to all my favorite bands concerts

Sing and be happy for once

I will paint you all a picture of my life

And all you will see is black

Today's society is so fucked up

You'd be lucky to get out

To make beautiful music that people love

I want to do that

I want to be that

That someone who doesn't let anyone stop them 

That someone who people look up to for help

Not this pathetic, liar

I play my guitar and piano

I paint on my canvases 

No one sees how much we are all worth

No one understands how much we all crave attention

Attention, we all need it

Attention, we all seek it

Attention, did I finally get yours?
