Society's LIE
is the hopelessness
of a "demise."
It leaves us all
paralyzed
in shades of
black and white...
Which is
DEATH
For those of us
needing
COLOUR.

Your words in this poem are the colour in my life. Thank you.

it's those times when "the black and white" of so called truth brings such a feeling of dread that any glimmer of hope is almost still born. So, colour our world, our hearts and souls with the colours and shades WE need, and damn the rest.

It might be black and white, but who says we can't add, pink or purple, red or gren etc etc.

A powerful write with strong sentiments.

The powerful emotions and passion underlying your words make your work--and this piece particularly--so moving and thought-provoking. Your art consistently inspires deeper thought and reflection. This is a hard-hitting poem.

Nothing snatches defeat from the jaws of a sure victory quicker than a negative attitude. There is at least a little bit of color in everything if you are willing to look for it. Nicely done!

Well spoken in concise terms...the 'spokes-people' for society would have us forever in a race to the bottom. Some of us would like a little positive light now and again.

Good work!
