I Claimed Insanity

I Claimed Insanity

A Poem by JustALotusFlower

I stood up in class.

Yelled at the teacher.

Told her to die.

They claimed Insanity

I started to mumble.

The principle got scared.

The insitute was called.

They claimed Insanity.

I told my parents.

About the demons I saw.

The screams I heard.

They claimed Insanity.

I lost focus more.

My eyes started to fade.

I developed a dark side.

They claimed Insanity.

I tried to plead.

To tell them I was sane.

But we both knew.

They claimed Insanity.

The institute was terrible.

I started to think suicidal.

I couldnt tell anyone.

Because They claimed Insanity.

I would cut myself.

Let out all of my blood.

Just to feel sane.

Because They claimed Insanity.

I couldnt take the pain.

Being locked up, for knowing the truth.

I made a noose.

And hung myself.

Because finally.

I claimed Insanity....
