Laying down.

Laying down.

A Poem by JustALotusFlower

Things are passing by.

I've seen your face before.

Do you remember me?

No, of corse you dont.

You looked past me.

As if I was a meire shadow.

Remember when I taught you to sing?

You looked so happy.

You wanted to pursue a singing career.

I supported you.

As time went on,

You grew.

As did I.

You left for college.

I didn't hear from you very often.

Do you remember me?

I stood at the phone, waiting for you to call.

Yet again,

You forgot I was here.

We saw eachother again.

Thanksgiving it was...

You told me you were going on tour.

You fineally had made it in singing.

I told you I loved you.

You left me standing in the doorway.

Time passed again.

I tried to call you.

No answer.

Days turned to weeks.

Weeks to months.

Until one day,

I saw you on the news.

Headline: "Teen shot and killed, performing a concert."

I walked into the street.

And layed down.

Ready to join you.
