Empty pillows

A Poem by Laura Kate

When I came home that evening
and went into my room
I felt I could have cried

because I had forgotten
just how much
my very own bedsheets
remind me
of you

You are welcome dear Poet.
and even worse when the pillows still have the significant other's imprint...
