I Met You

I Met You

A Poem by Emilie Louise
"

Meeting the love of your life.

"

Before you my life was dark,

Since I met you the sun shines,

My life’s become a dream,

Don’t wake me up,

Meeting you was a miracle,

Life can’t get better,

Being held in your arms,

Feeling your warmth next to me as I sleep,

Opening my heart and taking your hand,

I met you and my life changed,

Life can’t get any better,

I see new colours,

Next to you the world looks like magic,

When I first met you,

It felt like a dream,

I am so happy,

Don’t wake me,

I love you honey,

Life can’t get any better,

Meeting you was a miracle,

Life can’t get better,

Being held in your arms,

Feeling your warmth next to me as I sleep,

Opening my heart and taking your hand,

A miracle happened,

The day I met you,
