I saw you look at her in a way you never looked at me

It helped me prove to you that we were never meant to be.

You treated our love like it was a game

So now my life will never be the same.

You promised you'd stay faithful

But now I guess I was ungrateful

To think you'd stay forever by my side.

You begged me to forgive you

But by now your chance you blew

You never were meant to stay by my side.
