Depression

Depression

A Poem by Kaitlyn
"

How depression feels.

"

Walking in the storm, for the love of rain.

Writing to relieve the pain.

Sleeping to escape this place.

Trying to fix this screwed-up face.

Showers to hide the falling tears.

This is how we hide our fears.

Tragic Jumps and dreadful hangings.

Little hand guns bang-bang-banging.

Sharpened razors and chalky pills.

This is how depression kills.

I am clinically depressed and a former suicide-ee, so I'm sure there are people who can relate.
