Try to Fly

This is a Tanka. It's kinda like a Haiku but it goes 5-7-5-7-7 (syllables) Written for a school assignment. Hope it's good.

Why is it you don't

Look at the sky anymore?

Yet you're capable

Please do not avert your eyes.

If you will try, you can fly.

Oohh. I've never read of this style. I shall try it out (since I love Haikus ;D). I love the message. Not just to flying, but to anything. You have ht power to save someone, but why are you looking away? I really liked this. Keep it up!
