Still HFT and Sublimely Subprime

Dark pools: there is even poetry to be found in trading terminology.

Drowning in stark poverty,

another sacrifice to austerity,

everyone's broke, there's no liquidity,

disbelief at the crooked disparity,

head on a block thanks to the greedy,

out in the street the bona fide and the needy,

some vacuum up all the benefits easily,

cutting the jugulars of those already bleeding,

no time for the tears of oh woe is me,

chasing tail to placate unrelenting reality,

footing the bill of a profligate's wild party,

and clean up their mess adds insult to injury,

ever tightening belts choking more families,

what a to do - everyone begging for charity,

long-term plans call for unerring constancy,

short-term truth is the growth of mass misery,

youth without hope and impoverished elderly,

penniless middle class struggle, masked invisibly,

those who never had suffer even more appallingly,

but it's business as usual for the crooks acting normally:

dark pools making a mockery of trading decency,

lucky for them, computers trade at high frequency,

quote spamming, DDoS, mini flash crashes, really...

some should know better but are better off greedy,

making a mint from ungentlemanly activities,

ruining nations, states, homes and businesses,

here we all are drowning in stark naked poverty,

say hurrah for a system working quite horribly.
