Freedom

Freedom

A Poem by LuLuIcey
"

We are robots, from our soul to our actions.

"
Have a mental doctor meet,
at the national laboratory.
The doctor said she will beat
doubts about social territory.

She gave me an injection,
immediately fall into sleep.
After medical section,
my machine body gave me a beep.

Metal all covered my skin,
my soul is locked in cultural prison.
Repeat social like a bin,
Ideas were locked and never risen.

Why we need to be perfect?
We're silly robots with no freedom!
Ruin wires to disconnect,
Protect our pure souls, show our wisdom!

It does indeed seem society would force us all into a cookie cutter mould and eliminate all our differences for some ideal, sacrificing true beauty on the alter of some unattainable perfection.
