Forget Her.

Forget Her.

A Poem by Lucimere

There is something about you that makes you impossible to forget.
The sweet taste that comes from your lips, is more addicting than these pills I pop into my mouth to forget about you.

After the summer we shared, I fell in love with you, harder than this tin man without a heart ever could. Everything I gave to you was what remained and in the end it was never returned.
If a genie granted me 3 wishes all I could say was to take you out of this head filled with voices that never quit yelling.

The memory of you is the worst pain I've ever felt. I tried to let you go and watch you blow in the wind like a fall leaf...
But you came back,
Just when I was about to kick my addiction.
You came back.
