A Poem by A. Fischer

Growing more as a ghost

With every passing day

I excuse my fate as sacrifice

A price I choose to pay

Fearing nothing; losing sight

Of the woman I once knew

And each and every day

I ask...... why continue

Giving into selfish pleasure

As if I'm playing a game

Chasing dreams unfulfulled

One and all, end the same

Praying for the strength

To begin another chapter

Longing for the days

Filled with love and laughter

Living life without purpose

My fate  lies in the hands

Of the only one to love me

The Devil  himself, my man

I love your sense of humor with wording and visual shock, well written, very good read, I had to read it twice for clarification but all rounded goodness!!

Very strong poem! We all in our life go through weak periods where we just want to give up and not feel a thing! You have expressed so much emotions in this write!

I think we all at some point just want to let go of everything in our life thinking it would be easier to not feel... what a great confessional of that human emotion we all feel now and then.... weakness. Your openness is very commendable.
