Tripping Faces

Tripping Faces

A Poem by Luke L

I spiral upwards on dragon scales
That rip at my flesh
And I bleed tiger lilies fluttering
From the wounds

My face contorted in laughter
Like channel on old televisions
Broken reception
But in full vivid colours

Colours I've never perceived with open eyes
Paragoll, Witinol, Gahipp and Jumanooo
Pulse to the beats of the hearts of the trees
And that hide me within roots

As I am licked by solid rock kittens
Their gravel saliva
Causes snails to grow out of my skin
That expand pulsing in orgasmic explosions

And I float as a universe
As wide as such to exclipse
The tiny sky
That is below me
