Edgar, My Dear,

Edgar, My Dear,

A Poem by Luna Maroon Skyes
"

A poem I dedicate to Edgar Allen Poe, a man I would have loved to meet.

"
Edgar, My Dear,
This man I would have fancy to meet
A man that would indeed seek my needs
The crystal clover in a stack of fay
Was cursed not to love and was embedded away
This man a wonder a legend
that was a great one indeed
I long to greet the face of this dreary soul
My own I have felt to want to know
Fear that has left a scar beside you
Haunts me to where I would love to embrace
A mystery of the death
Of the ones that you loved and you called dear
So I say my dear Edgar
If it was your wish
Would you appear in my dreams
To loathe me in your fantastic presence
You seem a gift of heaven that you sense reject you
I would have held your key, Your Annabelle Lee
You and I
My Edgar, My dear
