Who Have I Become

Who Have I Become

A Poem by Lunalove6963

Looking at my self in the mirror
Is like staring at the face
of a familiar stranger
Like the person you see in a crowded place
You swear you know
But really don't
She has my green
sometime blue eyes
She has my long straight brown hair
With My half cracked smile
that's beginning to fade
She has the same scars to prove it

Who have I become?
The darkness is taking over
And I have no desire to fight it
I think it's time to embrace it
And let it devour me

It comes to us all my dear
No dont fight it you/we cant win

Embrace the 'lighter' coloured hair >
No dont have a 'Blue or pink' rinse leave those to 'old ladies'
A little colour to the cheeks (if they need it)
No dowdy 'old lady' clothes; bright colours
Listen to cheerful music
