Seedling

Seedling

A Poem by Lunalove6963

Every time I try and sprout
I get covered up with dirt
I can't stay here
This dirt is suffocating me
And I need to grow
I'm not asking for a palace lawn
Or the botanical gardens
an apartment window sill planter
Is fine with me
Give me sun and water
Making me sprout
Nurture me and let me grow
Blooming beautifully
Let me settle in my roots
To stay until I die
