I stumblewhenIwalkbehindyou because

I’m

            tripping         over

the stones

you           kicked up.  Too

busy

watching                   you,               I fail to

see the cracks     you        avoid

andItripoverthose

too.  You

become irritated

because          I’m          not

                 catching        up             to

 you.  You

                                   don’t see

that I’m

                                     the dog

that adores

    you.
