Conversation bends at the waist
sleepy eyes drink in love brewed with desire
amazing how well your arms feed my sensuality
allowing it to blossom
                         but the truth is.... 
my morning caffeine has eloped
with things better left unsaid
        do you see them?
impenetrable curves of night

enter the picture perfectly
yet this edgy poem screams to be scribbled
before slumber has her way with me
kissing dreams of you goodnight

Ah...i felt this poem take over me just like the slow..smoky..lingering sleep you describe here. the images are so breathtaking...from the morning caffeine eloping to the "impenetrable curves of night". the slumber must wait next time until poetry has done its job, lol.
