Seize the moment

How long am I going to be waiting for,
Till I finally see the lock on that mysterious door.
I really wish I get the answer after I turn the key,
And shows me the way my life can turn out to be.

I want a kayak to paddle down that stream,
Where I believe at the end is my long lost dream.
I don't want my hope to disappear or fade away,
I want to arrive at the moment before my final day.

I want that moment to be in the here and now,
Do you think that the universe will allow.
Not to at least experience it would be a crime,
Not to mention a total meltdown of my mind.

Come on, come on, let me have my say,
With blood, sweat and tears, I've done it all your way.
Don't guilt me for leaving you all alone,
You can always speak to me on the phone.

If I got my chance, I'd leave my home,
Even if it meant going at it on my own.
I have to take it, it will be tremendous fun,
And right to it, at top speed, I'll definitely run.

Don't try and tell me I'm being rude,
To get where I want to be I need the right type of attitude.
I've finally been given a rare golden ticket,
And with it, only the sky is the limit.
