Goodbye

Just a poem.

Maybe i'm just not good enough,

for you to forgive,

I know I've made a few mistakes,

but learning's the way I live,

I have a few problems,

yeah, that i'll give,

but that doesn't mean that i'm worthless,

does that mean I don't deserve this?

I've spent a long, long time,

trying to prove myself,

tried to raise my own status,

tired of being locked up on my shelf,

and it all came down in the end,

all came down to worth or wealth,

Guess i'm not as smart as I thought,

this time I lost but never fought,

I didn't run from disaster,

so, 

well I was caught,

I wont ask you to stay,

wont ask you to clean up my messes,

but still,

all I'll confess is,

that i'm sorry,

I really didn't mean too, I don't want to hurt you,

never been good at sappy goodbye,

never been able to express 'real' emotion through huge ugly cries,

but I have no right to ask for compromise,

all i can do is apologize and go.

I just checked out my schedule, looks like I've got a show,

I really don't want to see you, let me hurt you anymore,

why have you let me do this to you? All this time for?

you're a bright, bright soul, and I wont make your life a chore, nonexistent anymore,

I hope you're successful, I bet the world 'ill treat you right,

I hope you meet someone new, I hope for you with all my might.
