When our spirits connect... it doesn't matter where you are, I can feel you.

Many facets of your love I see

when gazing into the eyes of your Soul

Like the changes in the Moon at night... You forever, light my way.

The newness you bring to awaken my Being

Into whom I was created to be.

Giving my breast the fullness of a new Moon

tonight~

encouraging Me again to take flight.

When I look at you from here         

with my heart                                   

you cause a gust of wind to increase the ascent of my journey

clearing                             

my view for the light of the Moon.

When thoughts of you enter into view

Clouds creep in

Wanting to steal my smiles of you

I open my window to inhale your sweet breath

Letting me know that you are with me

…feeling that you are near

I lose all loneliness and fear

I pray, and exhale

Curling up like a kitten

Feeling. and Being...

I gaze up out into the darkness of my opened window

with each soft chill that caresses

my face…

I say to you

~Good night, moon.

This is rich with passion and it drips imagery, each line was so tangible my mind was literally able to walk within the muse. The moon is said to effect my birth sign, I think it effects all, your poem says everything I feel when I don't see it and also how I feel about others that I can't or haven't seen in a while.

One spouts a litany of romantic "moon" songs after reading your fine poem.

Even astrologically it refers to emotive matrix more than one's Sun sign.

The chill glow of the moon is eerie. Tides and cycles tied to moon. Probably a primal attunement to psi factors.

Even with a "soft chill" your moon is friendlier, warmer, like one of the full orange-roseate phenomena. One thinks harvest moon.

The moon makes me feel emotions and see them in my dreams. I have always found a comfort in the alluring rays of the moon and its silvery dreamy light casting warmth upon my face as I lay still in my bed watching it remembering many romantic and emotional times under its silky rays.
A comfort comes form its glow and a fixed goodnight as well. A well written romantic metaphoric poem. I liked it very much made me think of many things in the emotionally remembered memories highway in life .Well Written piece again !!!!

This poem seems to have a sort of romantic mystery to it, painted so well by your lunar imagery. Some of your phrasings are quite intriguing. My favorite was the seeming paradox in the line, "giving my breast the fullness of a new moon." That is a very sweet bit of writing. I also liked the very sensuous imagery at the end, "with each soft chill that caresses my face." Lovely!

NIce poem, and it opens up my mind as well to memories where i felt my past lover or lover was near, when he really was far away. but you can feel each other's spirits, i dated a guy who i was that connected with where we could hear each other's thoughts, and feel each other's emotions, even when not around each other....this poem made me remember that spiritual connection i had with only one.

this reminds me of a piece i wrote called, "fallen" i will send it to you, because your piece is so beautiful, and i enjoyed it very much.
