Message in a bottle

When I wish upon a falling star
I wish to be where you are
I think back to the time
When I was yours and you were mine
I think of how you treated me
and wish I'd never hit the road
The road that took me on a path
A path I hoped I would never find
A path full of darkness and tears
When I turned around I had but only one fear
The fear of losing you
and not having you in my life
The fear of crying and having only strife
When you said I do
I knew it was real
Our love for eachother would last forever
Until our time had come to be sealed in a bottle
and set to sea
A bottle filled with words of two lovers memories
and hope of someone finding their message
The message of how true love can feel
and how one persons passion can fill another persons desire
Love the person you are with
and don't ever let him or her go!

I liked the way you conveyed the emotion of love in this poem it was nicely done. Although I cannot tell if you are upset, happy, satisfied, or confused, which is maybe the point since love and the loss of love can create a wide range of emotions. Also a poem that is titled with a song by The Police is good in my book. Keep up the good work!
