Haunted Introduction

An Introduction into who Lily is in University and what kicked off the events to come.

He Never Leaves..

   Lily is your average, introverted first year university student. With not many friends and just trying to complete her studies so she can live her peaceful quiet life. 

Studying Lit, Law and Criminology has got her on her feet and her mind at full attention span. So much she doesn't even realise all of the strange letters she had been receiving that was piling up on the window seat next to her desk. 

   One day she gets a knock at the door. It was 10:30pm. Who could that be? she got up and walked the short few steps towards the door from her bed. Her feet cold on the floor boards. She opened the door to see a medium sized white long box with a red ribbon tied into a neat bow around it, sitting neatly in front of her door. No one to be seen in the dorm hallway.

   What could it be? 

   This is her story...

Firat of all, i have to say of how interested i became when reading this piece. Its pretty well strucured but i could see changes which could be made.
Nonetheless, i really liked this short but very intriguin introduction. Unusual presents on a doorstep - especially late at night are always going to be a cause for concern.
Because of the brevity of the piece, you have a grat balance of not giving the reader too little or too much; you have balanced it just right for the reader to want to know more.
Great intro and great hook.
