Loyalty

Loyalty

A Poem by Amora-Sama

Loyalty.
That's what you spoke of
When I hold and grasp on the promise
Under the oak tree
That as small and significant like us.

Waiting
In a fake palace.
The one that we build together
From fragile branches.

Age conceived and trapped us,
We've abandoned our youth.
Yet I'm still
Holding on to that promise.

Left with only memory,
Failed in every dreams.
Leaving the question of
The meaning of loyalty.

That memory
Is just a toy to you.
Leaving the question of
The meaning of loyalty,
The one that you've promised long ago.

It makes me stop and think about all the promises i've been a part of and if they were really true and were lived up to. Great poem it makes me visualize what has been writen in my head.
