Freddie Is Gone

Freddie Is Gone

A Poem by MOON

The silence wont let me be

The room closing in on me

You healed parts broken

Necrotic wounds unspoken

Tears falling like rain

Sorrow obsessing pain

Then I lost you in the midst of it all

Building my Berlin wall

Enclosed crossing the line

Bitter bile on which I dine

Now you the silence in my despair

Some things I cannot repair

I love it....you built the Berlin Wall and I the Wailing wall...that bitter bile is so raw and real and that silence is so deafening ...but I say...Let them eat their own Sh**ells...all go out and play:)

I can feel the pain in your words. The silence always seems to make the truth of being alone all the more apparent, and it leaves a scar that we always carry on our hearts. Feeling trapped within yourself... Something nobody should have to go through. This was wonderfully written

The claustrophobic silence and walls moving in on you are only the start, as your mind adjusts to your new settings and moves on to high alert mode, sending panic and distress into every thought that crosses your mind.
And the crazier the idea, the deeper you sink, like those circles of Dante's hell.
I do sincerely hope it doesn't take you so long to knock down your wall as it took Berlin though.

Sometime the silence is haunting. I enjoyed your thoughts and honest emotions shared. We do appreciate thing after they become missing. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

Hello my friend, I am well and I hope you are doing well. You are welcome.
Devastating account.
So much of the human experience is learning to live with grievous wounds.
Powerful piece of high-level work!

Penned with sadness of heart and agony of soul. The brokenness is very real. The parting is very painful. Hope things work out Miss Moon.

Yes indeed. You are welcome. You too.
Dear Moon, your lines so poetic. You have lost Freddie, he has gone and you were reliant on him for much support it seems. He was the mender of broken parts and I can feel the anguish here of loss. Bitter bile on which you dine, tells me this was not an amicable parting. You have been left in despair knowing that the chances of reconciliation are zilch. That is a hard price to pay. Beautifully conveyed poem, cuts to the quick. Your loss is evident.
