So, on a full moon night

Watch love dim its light

 

You were like spring flowers in bloom

Red roses and the nights perfume

Now as the stars shut out the light

Was it in my head a fantasy flight

 

Love walks in and lights a path

Perhaps that’s all it is, a moment of art

What a beautiful line to end reflections of what could have beens that we have all felt and struggled to properly convey., especially when we can reflect on our own and sighs are lifted by that endline that resonates long after reading.
